After a lengthy career in the defence industry Ali has formed her business, Willowpoint Associates, to follow a personal passion to support individuals, teams and organisations achieve superior levels of performance in the ever-changing business world.

Whilst in corporate life, most recently as HR Director within BAE Systems, Ali has experienced and led significant change interventions driven out of mergers, restructuring, downsizing, process and technological developments. In doing this she has acquired a good understanding of the key levers for organisational effectiveness and in particular what can be done to minimise the adverse impact of change on individual, team and business performance.

Ali aims to capitalise on this experience in her new business, supporting organisations with a very practical approach to deliver people solutions that challenge traditional methods and impact positively on the bottom line. Initial projects have included facilitating strategy development workshops, developing Consulting Skills Workshops for senior HR communities and Coaching consultancy.

A graduate of the Meyler Campbell Business Coach™ Programme, Ali has developed a real interest in the theory and research underpinning coaching practice, which she is building upon in her work with Lancaster University and CAPP. Ali holds an MSc in Strategic Personnel and Development from the University of Hull and is a Graduate Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Personnel and Development and an Affiliate of the British Psychological Society.
