Welcome to the conference website for the 2nd Applied Positive
Psychology Conference: Creating Flourishing Communities.
If you want to learn more about the applications of positive psychology in work,
education and the wider community, this is the

their experiences, explore new research and applications, and build friendships
and connections to enrich them long into the future.
Held at the University of Warwick, Coventry, UK, from 1-3 April 2009, the 2nd
Applied Positive Psychology Conference will showcase developments and advances
in the field, bringing together practitioners, researchers and policy makers
from the fields of work, education, and social change to advance our
understanding of how we can all play our part, large or small, in Creating
Flourishing Communities.
Whether as a psychologist, HR professional, coach, educator, researcher,
community worker, policy maker - or just you as you are! - the 2nd Applied
Positive Psychology Conference will give you unique and exclusive opportunities
to learn about developments in the field of positive psychology, and how those
developments are being applied to enable better lives for all, through Creating
Flourishing Communities.

international authorities in their field, as part of a conference programme
that also includes paper presentations, workshops and symposia. Delegates will
