Successes and setbacks have highlighted the importance
of positive psychology in achieving worthwhile
innovations that lead to lasting outcomes.
Amongst the crucial factors for success have
been: – a powerful future focus, change that holds
personal meaning for the people involved, realistic
optimism, and the use of strengths as a source of
energy. Success
has also depended upon developing resilient attitudes
from a classroom to management level.
Positive psychology represents a radical shift to the
wellsprings of health, which has significant potential
to raise morale and achievements in learning
environments of the future.
Emma has joined CAPP
to extend the frontiers of positive psychology into the
educational sector.
Emma holds a Masters degree in Educational Psychology
