Nicky joined CAPP as a Principal Consultant in October 2006. She specialises in the application of positive psychology in the workplace. Her particular areas of expertise include strengths-based selection and recruitment, performance management and diversity and inclusion. Nicky’s passion is translating positive psychology research into tangible applications that benefit individuals and organisations.
Nicky has over six years experience working as an occupational psychologist. Throughout her career to date, she has been involved in international assignments in Africa and the Americas, providing her with a strong understanding of global HR issues. Nicky is experienced working across many client sectors and public and private organisations.
She has extensive experience designing and delivering assessment and development solutions for organisations including Norwich Union, Transport for London, Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Royal Mail, Total Fina Elf, British Telecom and Price Waterhouse Coopers.
Throughout her career Nicky has managed a number of varied assignments including assessment and development centres, graduate and senior level recruitment, employee satisfaction audits, career development and the design of the national basic skills test. Nicky holds a Masters (with distinction) in Occupational Psychology from the University of Cardiff, as well as a first degree in Psychology. .
