Susan Harrington
Having been a member of the Positive Psychology Research Group at the University of Leicester researching the assessment and applications of psychological strengths, and the association between personality traits and psychological strengths, Sue is now a teaching assistant in the Occupational Psychology section of the School of Psychology at the University of Leicester. She is reading for her PhD on workplace bullying with Prof. Charlotte Rayner at the University of Portsmouth, having completed her MSc Occupational Psychology at Birkbeck, University of London.
Sue’s previous career included line management for IBM and Microsoft, where she gained much experience in areas including employee selection/assessment, assessment centres, employee development, performance appraisal and disciplinary processes. More recently she has provided HR Consultancy for employee issues such as bullying and harassment, developing and delivering training workshops for a range of organisational issues. Sue has also worked as a consultant for a psychometric test publisher, assisting organisations with their selection and assessment processes, employee development and talent management processes.
