Stephanie J. Morgan
Stephanie is Director of Crosslight Management Ltd., and consults to a range of companies on various aspects of work including outsourcing, staff motivation, customer service relationships, technology related change, and managing diversity. Increasingly the focus has moved to using positive psychology to inform interventions, and develop positive relations in organisations. In particular Stephanie has been developing ideas and carrying out research on the concept of Optimal Flow Experience and the links to performance and learning. Crosslight specialise in bringing academic theory to practical use and underpin all their interventions with solid research. They work with both profit and not-for profit organisations, and have a specific focus on high ethical standards. Amongst others, they have carried out projects for the MOD, Training & Development Agency for Schools, Stockwell Park Community Trust, City & Guilds and Band & Brown Communications.
Stephanie is a non-executive Director of Surrey & Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust, and Associate Lecturer at Birkbeck, University of London. She also guest-lectures in change management and research methods at other colleges, including Kings, and the London School of Economics. She has published in a range of books and journals, both academic and practitioner, and is regularly invited to speak at conferences.
Stephanie has a doctorate in Occupational Psychology from Birkbeck, University of London, a Masters in Organisational Psychology also from Birkbeck, and a first degree in Psychology. She is a chartered member of the British Psychological Society, including the occupational, social, and qualitative sections, and a member of the UK and European Network for Positive Psychology. She is certified with the BPS for testing on ability and personality assessments. Stephanie has received training from the BPS on working with the press and is a member of the BPS Wessex branch committee actively supporting the development of psychology in the Southern area. She has spoken a number of times on the radio on the subject of happiness at work.
